AS STURDY AS THEY COME

The MN27 features heavy-duty steel frame construction, for durability and stability to withstand demanding cutting tasks. It also comes with ten micro-adjust levelling feet for ground-level stationary sawing to help ensure the mill stays stable for safe, accurate cuts.

ENTRY-LEVEL YET VERY PRECISE

The dual fixed 1¼” blade guides are precision-machined, hardened, zinc-dichromate plated, and include sealed double ball bearings for 3-sided blade support without imposed deflection.

LUMBER SCALE

Your sawmill comes standard with a 2”, 9/8”, 1” & ¾” depth-of-cut scale with the kerf already calculated in. Optional metric scale sets are also available.

AUTO-LOCKING SAWHEAD

Patented infinitely-adjustable auto-locking sawhead (versus choice-choking, dimension-limiting pre-set cogged systems) - Gives you full depth-of-cut control while sparing you two time-consuming operations per cut.

HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE OPERATOR CONTROLS

Adjustable ergonomic tilt-height multi-function operator’s control simultaneously throttles the engine, engages the blade, and turns on the blade lube (on auto-lube equipped models).

E-Z BLADE TENSION

Patented laminated sawhead with EZ blade tension system for fast, frustration-free blade changes and maximum torsional sawhead strength.

SAWDUST PORT

Rigid 4” sawdust exhaust port directs sawdust down towards the ground on the far side of the mill or use it to connect to a chip-extractor and exhaust the sawdust outside your sawing shed.

VERSATILE LOG CLAMPS

Twin vertical-adjust, 3-function log rests optimize clamping of your sawlogs, cants and boards, and solid-steel log dog.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO TOW THE LUMBERMAN MN27

Yes, you can. All Norwood band blade sawmills have an available optional mobility system that will allow you to tow your sawmill from job to job through your woodlot right to your milling site

HOW DO I LOAD LOGS ONTO THE LUMBERMAN MN27

Many sawyers have their own tractors or loaders. If you do not have that kind of equipment, you can add one of the optional log loading systems available for Norwood sawmills. The LumberMan MN27 offers a manual log loading/rolling and ramp package.

WHAT ARE THE SPACE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS SAWMILL?

When fully assembled, the LumberMan MN27 is 16' (4.8 m) long and 6'7" (2 m) wide. When setting up the mill ensure there is at least 15' (4.5 m) of firm, level ground around each side of the equipment.
