The patent pending MDX Mobile Shredding Units are revolutionary dual mode systems. They are able to be switched between standard and high security modes at the touch of a button. When operating in standard mode the bulletproof ST-15H shredder achieves up to 3,000 kg/hr of throughput. Activating the high security mode produces an incredibly small DIN certified shred size while maintaining impressive throughput. Shred-Tech’s MDX-Line features the first high security Mobile Shredding Units which do not rely on screens or moving additional shredders in and out of position. This makes these systems user friendly, reliable, easy to service and cost effective.

The state of the art Plus-1® micro-control system with advanced intelligence is powerful enough to not only to control and monitor the system, but also allows for a job timer, an automatic bin counter, advanced diagnostics and predictive idle. The Plus–1® system offers a level of control, and range of features, not possible with analogue control panels.

MDX trucks come equipped with Shred-Tech’s twin-screw angled compactor design and durable moving floor unloading system. Together, these features ensure maximum payload of up to 6,000 kg and rapid discharge of shredded materials in a few minutes, equating to more time on-route shredding paper and generating revenue.

 

All Shred-Tech MDX Trucks are equipped with predictive idle, Auto Shutdown and Remote Panel Start/Stop. Predictive idle senses low shredder loads and shuts off the high engine idle when the shredder is unattended, and the hopper is empty. Moments later the PTOs are turned off along with the engine. This means never wasting fuel and engine hours. Rear Access Handle, Rear Access Ladder, Tunnel Out Sensor Package, Body Stow Switch (All Openings), Bin Tunnel Viewing Window, Cart Storage Body, Bi-Fold Hopper Guard.

Chassis are available in two sizes: 15 and 18 tonne GVW. Shred-Tech’s versatile line up provides the performance and features you need to start your Mobile Shredding Business or to add to your existing fleet. Our standard chassis is the DAF XB Range, and our preferred Transmission is the Allison 3000. We are happy to discuss alternative chassis manufacturers.
